Domaine Chapoton is located in the area of the picturesque village Rochegude in South Provence.
Domaine Chapoton has a rich history which falls into the time of the government of Ludwig XIV in the 17th century. In the 19th century wine from Rochegude was given to diplomats of lands foreign for France. US President Tomas Jefferson was also one of the most famous buyers.
The current owners are Annika and Serge Remusan who took over this family winery in 1981. There are currently 60 hectares of vineyards in the area of Rochegude where the Grenach followed by the Syrah, Mourvedre, Carignan and Cinsault are the main grapes.
An extraordinary terroir, integrated production in vineyards, organic fertilizers and natural steps of wine production under the supervision of the renowned enologist Yann Rohel are a guarantee of high quality original wines.
